Terms and Conditions for Mexico Waves Surf Trips & Surf Guiding

We appreciate your interest in booking a travel experience with us, rest assured that we will give our best effort and professionalism to make your surf trip a memorable adventure because we want you to always come back.

I.- Consider that there are external factors that can affect your reservation, travel experience and / or put your life at risk, surfing is an activity linked to climatic factors that are not controllable and that, as a result of this, the experience may be affected Travel.

II.- México Waves will not be obliged for any reason to reimburse, reschedule or discount the total value of the requested trip due to factors such as: Unfavorable weather conditions for surfing, social or political instability in the region, loss or delays of flights, border closures, wars, armed movements or natural disasters, the foregoing is illustrative and not limiting in the sense that any external factor that interferes with the completion of the trip in an appropriate and safe way will not be the responsibility of the service provider (Mexico Waves) so by reading this clause I understand its scope and accept it to demarcate past, present and future actions.

III.- Cancellations: There is the possibility of canceling a reservation in advance (at least 20 days before) of the trip or requested experience, however, you must consider that there is a penalty of 25% of the total value of the reservation, It will be retained by México Waves as part of the expenses incurred and associated with the cancellation of the service.

IV.- Changes and Modifications: Changes and modifications to the travel itinerary or reserved experience are possible as long as they are notified via email, at least 20 days prior to the contracted dates. VI.- The price agreed for the service is limited to what is indicated in the selected trip and the description of the invoice, so you will be responsible for all extra costs that may arise such as: plane tickets, luggage, insurance doctors, tax rates, food, tips, the above is illustrative and not limiting, so any cost not described in the reservation invoice will be paid by the guest.

VII.- Inherent Risks: Activities related to surfing may involve a hostile environment, such as adverse weather conditions, currents, tidal changes, rocks, reefs, other people in the water, wildlife, which to access some surf sites the guest must walk, climb, swim, and use their physical and mental capacities, that the region where the services are developed is an inhospitable and wild region, with dangerous flora and fauna, likewise; the guest is exposed to natural and unnatural obstacles, vehicles, accidents and risks of multiple kinds that can cause contact or collisions with other people or objects, theft or loss of objects, moderate to serious injuries such as: scrapes, blows or bruises, cuts, sprains, broken bones, exhaustion, gastrointestinal diseases, dehydration, infections, heart attacks, paralysis and death. I recognize that the trip can put my physical and mental capacities to the limit, I understand that I may be injured or lose my life, for which I assume full responsibility.

VIII.- Photography and Video: México Waves, its employees and associates can take photographs and videos of the surf sessions and the trip in general, which knowing this I give my consent so that they can be used for informational, commercial or advertising purposes In printed and electronic media of any kind, I grant the use and rights of said material, refraining from any claim or compensation on the part of México Waves.

IX.- Legal controversies: If a controversy arises, you accept that it will be handled according to local legislation and current Mexican laws.

X.- Declarations of the Guest: a) Affirms that their physical and health conditions are adequate for carrying out these types of activities, that they do not suffer from or know of any health condition that could put their life at risk. b) That if Mexico Waves requires it, it could request a health certificate prior to arrival. c) I affirm that I do not have any medical restrictions to carry out this type of activity. d) It is the guest’s responsibility to be attentive to their physical and mental condition during the development of the trip and the requested activities. e) That in case of any discomfort I will immediately notify the staff of México Waves. f) I affirm that I am covered by health insurance. g) I authorize México Waves in the event that it is required to make emergency medical decisions on my behalf, I also agree to cover all expenses derived from a possible emergency such as: transportation, medical care, admission to hospital services, etc.

XI.- I acknowledge and accept that Mexico Waves will provide me with safety instructions during the trip, which I promise to respect and follow. I also accept that in the event that my conduct, participation and / or negligence are inappropriate or endanger myself or someone from the Mexico Waves group, I may withdraw from a trip and its facilities.
